Director of Analytics BrightNight Amir has 10 years of experience in engineering, control, and analytics of renewable energy projects, including utility scale solar and energy storage as well as microgrid projects. He leads analytics at BrightNight and has a deep understanding of renewable project modeling and optimization, green hydrogen, energy storage technologies and power market analytics. Prior to BrightNight, Amir worked as a controls engineer for Solar Turbines, where he developed an optimization and forecasting platform for the company’s energy storage product. He has successfully developed and implemented real-time control and dispatch for several microgrids including the first healthcare microgrid in California consisting solar and energy storage. Amir has a PhD in control of energy systems from the University of California San Diego.
