Jacob Vittitow

Scale Microgrids
Jacob Vittitow attended the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering from 2013-2018, earning a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. After working in Louisville for a few years after college, first with Louisville Gas & Electric - Kentucky Utilities and then with C&I Engineering, Jacob moved to New York City and started work with Scale Microgrids in 2020.
At Scale Microgrids, Jacob works as a Power Engineer, overseeing the design, construction, and operation of facility-level microgrid systems that integrate solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Natural-Gas Generator Sets to provide resilient energy and reduce the carbon footprints of a wide range of clients. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York.
